Absentee Voting

All eligible and registered voters are now able to vote absentee! If you wish to do so, please call our office, 231-798-4391 Option 2, and request an application. You may also download an application from the link below and send it in. The Clerk's Office maintains a permanent absentee voter list and applications are automatically mailed to you prior to every election as required by law. If you'd like to be placed on the permanent absent voter list, please indicate that when you call or check the box on your current absent voter ballot application.

Absentee Voting Deadlines are as follows:

• Absentee ballots can be sent to voters by first class mail until 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to the election
• Voters can pick up an absentee ballot in person until 4 p.m. the Monday prior to the election
• The City Clerk's Office is open on the weekend prior to all elections for absentee voters and voter registration.
