Our Fleet

The department has a 19 vehicle fleet including the following:

• Six fire/EMS engines, with two of them carrying vehicle extrication equipment
• One aerial unit
• One heavy rescue unit
• Two brush units
• Three ARFF units (Airport units, County-owned.)
• One water tender
• One utility vehicle (On-scene refueling, equipment transport, and plowing.)
• One Command unit
• Two rescue watercraft
• Three administrative vehicles

One of Norton fire's original 1945 Ford fire truck returns to Norton Shores. 

Four trailers are maintained providing transportation of specialized equipment.
