Parks & Recreation Fall Seasonal Maintenance Worker

• Mowing grass and weed trimming
• Painting and repairing public buildings
• Leaf cleanup and general Fall property maintenance 
• Other various park maintenance tasks, including garbage
• Position involves operating of light equipment such as push mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers and operation of a pickup truck, etc.

• Graduate/current student of an accredited high school or equivalent
• At least 17 years old (Minors under the age of 18 are required to have a work permit prior to starting work)
• Valid State of Michigan license and good driving record
• Reasonable knowledge of the operation of light equipment like, mowers, trimmers, and blowers. 

This is a part-time/seasonal position that does not come with benefits.

1 hour of Earned Sick time is accrued for ever 30 hours worked, according to the State statute.
