•    Mowing grass
•    Painting and repairing public buildings
•    Raking leaves
•    Shoveling sand
•    Other various park maintenance tasks
•    Position involves operating of light equipment such as push mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers and operation of a pickup truck, etc.

• Graduate/current student of an accredited high school or equivalent
• At least 16 years old (Minors under the age of 18 are required to have a work permit prior to starting work)
• Valid State of Michigan license and good driving record (if not a minor)
• Reasonable knowledge of the operation of light equipment like, mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
