Heads up, Norton Shores! We have several road improvement projects scheduled over the next couple of weeks. Here's what you need to know so you can plan ahead!
AIRPORT ROAD & AIRLINE HIGHWAY
Traffic Signal Work
📅 October 2–9, 2026
Work on the traffic signal at the Airport Road and Airline Highway intersection is scheduled to begin Friday, October 2, and continue through the following week.
Anticipated completion: Friday, October 9.
EAST MT. GARFIELD ROAD
HMA Pavement Improvement Work
Here's the updated schedule:
📅 Wednesday, October 7: Pavement milling
📅 Thursday, October 8: Raising structures
📅 Saturday, October 10: HMA pavement overlay
TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Traffic will be maintained using signs and flaggers during both projects. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to allow additional travel time.
Please slow down, follow the direction of flaggers, and use caution when traveling through active work zones.
