Henry Street is reopened to all traffic on Friday, March 8, 2024, at about 4 p.m.
Here is a timeline to help understand today's confusion with the close, open, and subsequent reclosure notices.
On Thursday, March 7, 2024, shortly before 1 p.m., Henry Street was closed from Forest Park Road to Browne Avenue for repairs. The repairs were made, and the road was reopened to all traffic at 9:00 p.m. yesterday evening.
This morning, around 8:30 a.m., it was discovered that a second emergency repair would be needed, which would result in the closing of Henry Street on Friday morning.
Crews are confident that the issue has been resolved, and Henry Street is fully open to all traffic once again. We are sorry for any inconvenience this detour may have caused. Thank you.
