2026 City Wide Chip Seal Project Update
Weather permitting, this year’s chip seal work is now scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 27 and continue through Saturday, May 30, 2026.
Proposed order of work:
1️⃣ Werner St (Shettler Rd to Dead End)
2️⃣ Buck St (Shettler Rd to Dead End)
3️⃣ Fink St (Shettler Rd to Dead End)
4️⃣ Taylor St (Shettler Rd to Dead End)
5️⃣ Shettler Rd (Airline Hwy to US-31)
6️⃣ Airline Hwy (Getty St to Norton Ave)
7️⃣ East Hile Rd (Grand Haven Rd to US-31)
8️⃣ Porter Rd (Henry St to Martin Rd)
9️⃣ Randall Rd (Henry St to Martin Rd)
Access for local traffic will be maintained throughout the project; however, residents may experience:
⚠️ Brief lane restrictions
⚠️ Temporary driveway access interruptions due to equipment
⚠️ Loose stones on the roadway for several days
⚠️ Reduced travel speeds until surfaces fully settle
Please use caution when traveling through active work zones and allow extra travel time when possible.
