We want to inform our residents of the upcoming Hot-in-Place Pavement Recycling and Resurfacing work scheduled for next week. Below is the tentative work plan:
Tentative Schedule:
- Monday, Sept 30th: Lake Harbor Rd. (between Porter Rd. and Sunset Point), Kunz, Seng, and Miller.
- Tuesday, Oct 1st: Armstrong and Ross.
- Wednesday, Oct 2nd: Harvey St. (between Ellis and Sternberg).
- Thursday, Oct 3rd: Harvey St. (between Ellis and Sternberg), Crestwood, and Ritter Drive.
- Friday, Oct 4th: Crestwood and Ritter Drive.
Work Description: The work involves pavement milling and hot-in-place asphalt recycling. This process helps extend the life of the existing road surface, improving safety and driving conditions for all road users.
What to Expect:
- Traffic Impact: All roads will remain open, but there will be lane closures, flagging, and short delays throughout the work areas.
- Plan Ahead: To minimize inconvenience, we encourage drivers to consider alternate routes around the work zones.
- Safety First: Please be mindful of crews working in the area, reduce speed, and follow all traffic control measures.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to maintain and improve our roads. For further updates or questions, please contact our Public Works Department.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and for helping us keep our community safe and moving efficiently!
