UPCOMING ROAD CONSTRUCTION – HARVEY & STERNBERG INTERSECTION

A major improvement project is coming to the Harvey Street and Sternberg Road intersection this fall! The project will completely reconstruct the intersection from the ground up, with construction expected to begin shortly after Labor Day and continue through mid-November 2026.

WHAT DRIVERS NEED TO KNOW:

• Phase 1:
  Harvey Street will be completely closed north of the intersection. Westbound Sternberg Road lanes will be shifted to maintain traffic on Sternberg Road through the intersection.
• Phase 2:
  Harvey Street will be closed south of the intersection. Eastbound Sternberg Road lanes will be shifted to maintain traffic on Sternberg Road through the intersection.

Detours will be in place throughout construction. Motorists should plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and expect delays when traveling through the corridor.

Please keep in mind that construction dates and traffic patterns may shift depending on weather and construction progress.
