Traffic Advisory: 2024 Hot-in-Place Pavement Recycling & Resurfacing Project
The City of Norton Shores would like to inform residents that the 2024 Hot-in-Place Pavement Recycling and Resurfacing Project is scheduled to begin this week, starting September 9, 2024. The project will take place on the following streets:
Major Roads:
- Lake Harbor Road (Porter to Sunset Point)
- Harvey Street (Ellis to Sternberg)
Selected Local Streets:
- Miller Road (Aue to Randall)
- Kunz Street (Eugene to West Hile)
- Seng Road (Eugene to West Hile)
- Ross Road (Henry to Armstrong)
- Armstrong Road (Rand to Randall)
- Ritter Drive (East of Lake Harbor)
- Crestwood Lane (West of Lake Harbor)
The work will include:
- Manhole cover adjustments
- Pavement milling
- Hot-in-place asphalt recycling
- Road resurfacing
Project Timeline: The work is scheduled to be completed by November 1, 2024.
Traffic Impact:
- All roads will remain open, but lane closures and flagging will be in place.
- Expect short delays in the work zones.
- There may be instances where a road is completely closed for 1-2 days.
- Alternate routes are advised to avoid potential delays.
