Spring Cleanup and Leaf Site Schedule Announced

2025 Leaf Site Schedule

Leaf Site Hours – 11:00AM - 7:00PM

 

Spring – March 29th to June 1st: Both Wood Road and Ross Park leaf sites open daily.

Summer - June 2nd: Both sites closed during weekdays.

Starting June 7th to September 30th, Wood Road site ONLY will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM - 7PM.

Fall - October 1st - TBD: both sites open daily.

 

Spring Clean Up - May 3, 2025

Date: May 3, 2025

Time: 8AM - NOON

Where: DPW Facility at 1174 E Mount Garfield Rd, Norton Shores, MI 49441

Norton Shores Residents Only *Proof of residence required*

 

Allowed:

Refuse (e.g., mattresses, furniture, minor building materials, etc.)

Recyclables (e.g., appliances, scrap metal, TVs, computer monitors, electronic equipment)

Usable items can be donated to Goodwill

Sensitive document shredding by Shred-It (up to 100 lbs.)

Latex paint (must be dried up)

 

Items NOT Allowed:

Tires

Yard Waste (leaves, brush, trees, etc.)

Excessive amounts of building materials

Hazardous waste

Batteries

Propane Tanks
