Michael Hylland was appointed in August 2014 and re-elected in 2018 to City Council Member At Large. At the November 2, 2021 General Election, Council Member Hylland was again elected to a four-year term expiring in November 2025. Prior to that he had been appointed and served as a Planning Commission member from September 2007 to August 2014. Mike lives in Norton Shores with his wife and children, coaches soccer and is part owner of Wood Trucking Company.
