Daniel Olson was appointed to the City Council to fill a Ward II vacancy in May 2019 and in November 2019 elected to a four-year term expiring November 2023. Prior to being appointed to the City Council in 2019, Dan served on the Planning Commission since 2013. Dan and his wife, Julie, have two children and are life-long residents of Norton Shores. Dan, who graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 2002, is a partner at the law firm of Gielow Groom Terpstra & McEvoy in Norton Shores, where he practices general civil litigation.
