Polls will be open from 7a.m. to 8p.m.

Absentee ballots will be mailed out and available in our office 45 days prior to the election.
Campaign signs can be displayed 45 days prior to the election and must be removed within one week after the election.

 The Michigan Voter Information Center is a great place to find detailed information for upcoming elections! This includes previewing what exactly will be on the ballot so you know what to expect before receiving an absentee ballot or heading off to your precinct to vote.

Steps for viewing the ballot:

1. View the "Ballot Preview" 

2. Enter the Election you wish to preview

3. Enter your County

4. Enter your Jurisdiction

5. Enter you Precinct

6. Click "View the Ballot"

NOTICE OF ABSENT VOTER BALLOT PRE-PROCESSING & PROCESSING

Notice is hereby given that the City of Norton Shores Absent Voter Counting Board will conduct the pre-processing of absent voter ballots for the August Election on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norton Shores City Hall, 4814 Henry Street, Norton Shores, Michigan.  The City of Norton Shores Absent Voter Counting Board will continue processing absent voter ballots on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 beginning at 9 a.m. Eight (8) election inspectors will be present to conduct the pre-processing and processing.
